Itinerary
DAY
Day 1 :Amritsar
Amritsar Pickup from Amritsar Railway Station/ Airport transfer to the hotel, Check-in the Hotel, Start your city tour with the blessings of Golden Temple- the most sacred temple for Sikhs. It is a symbol of the magnificence and strength of the Sikh people all over the world. Then visit Jallianwala Bagh which is a memorial to the countless numbers of innocent Indians which were massacred by General Dyer in April 13, 1919. British General, Edward Dyer, ordered his soldiers to opened fire on an unarmed gathering of Hundreds men, women and children in this place.
In the evening visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border which is famous for its ‘Retreat’ ceremony at the time of sunset. Wagah Border is situated at a distance of 28 kilometers from Amritsar. This place to see the change of guards ceremony and the flag hoisting and lowering activities which are done with great skill and precision by the border security forces of both the countries, Wagah is the only land border open between Pakistan and India, Return to hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel in Amritsar.
Day 2 :Amritsar to Dalhousie (200kms)
After having the breakfast at the hotel, drive to Dalhousie from Amritsar, check in at the hotel. After relaxing visit to such as some spectacular churches, Jandhri Ghat, Bakrota Hills, Lake Mandi, Gandhi Chowk, Subash Bowli, Satdhara, Panjpulla etc.
Khajjiar, Khajjiar known as Mini Switzerland, and sightseeing of places like Kalatop and Dainku*nd etc. evening move to hotel, o/n stay and dinner in hotel.
Day 3 : Dalhousie – Manali (257 km)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and move Manali check in hotel, o/n stay in Manali hotel.
Day 4 : Manali local Sightseen –Manali
After breakfast visit 450 years old Hidimba Mata temple situated in dense forest, Van Vihar, Mall Road, Tibetan monastery and handicraft centre etc. Van Vihar, Mall Road and the handicraft centre. The rest of the day at leisure OR walk to the Nearby picturesque village of Vashisht known for its hot sulphur springs , etc. evening at leisure, overnight stay at Manali hotel.
Day 5 : Manali- Chandigarh (298 km)
After having the Breakfast at the Hotel, proceed to Chandigarh by road. Chandigarh is first planned city of modern India, Check in the Hotel, in evening visit to Rock Garden, Rose Garden, Sukhna Lake, Sector 17 Market for shopping, Stay overnight at Hotel in Chandigarh.
Day 6 : Departure
After having the Breakfast at the Hotel, drop at Chandigarh Railway Station to board the Train/ Airport for onward/return journey.
