Itinerary
DAY
1st Day : Mangalore Airport - Chikmagalur
Arrival at Mangalore Airport/ Railway station in the morning/afternoon by flight/Train and transfer to Chikmagalur. This is a 4 hours short journey.
You will be taken to your hotel where you will relax and rest. Explore the local market in your free time and back to your hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel
2nd Day : Chikmagalur Sightseeing
After breakfast, You will go for full day sightseeing of Chikmagalur.
Chikmagalur is located on the western part of Karnataka. The meaning of Chikmagalur is ' Land of the younger daughter'. It is known for its pleasant climate and the coffee plantations.
You will visit Seethalayanagiri and the highest peak of Karnataka - Mullayanagiri (Vehicle is allowed till Seethalayanagiri Hills, for Mullayanagiri you will need to do a little trek from Seethalayanagiri) and proceed to Dabdabe Waterfall, Baba Budangiri Hills and Manikyadhare Waterfall. In the evening return to the hotel. Overnight stay in the Hotel.
3rd Day : Chikmagalur to Coorg Transfer
After breakfast, head towards Coorg. Which will take approximately 4 hours to reach Chikmagalur.
On arrival check-in to the hotel. Have some rest and visit the local market of Coorg. In the evening back to your hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.
4th Day : Coorg Sightseeing
After breakfast, You will go for full day sightseeing of Coorg.
Coorg is located in the western ghats of the Sahyadri mountains of Karnataka.
It is also called as the "Scotland of India" and the "Kashmir of Karnataka" of Coorg. It is famous for lush greenery, rich flora and fauna.
You will explore Omkareshwar Temple, Abbey Falls, MadiKeri Fort, Dubare Elephant Camp, Golden Temple and Honnamana Kere Lake. After visiting these places back to your hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.
5th Day : Coorg to Mysore Transfer
After breakfast, you will depart to Mysore. Which will take 4 hours to reach Mysore. On arrival check-in to your hotel. You are free for leisure. In the evening explore the local market /Devaraja Market of Mysuru. Overnight stay in Mysuru.
6th Day : Mysore Sightseeing
After breakfast, You will go for full day sightseeing of Mysore.
Mysore is known as the cultural capital of Karnataka. It is famous for many Opulent, Royal Palaces, Yoga centres and lush green sandalwood forest.
Our first stop will be the famous Mysuru Palace and proceed for Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, Sri Chamundeshwari Ammanavara Temple, Melody World Was Museum and Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. In the evening back to your hotel. Overnight stay in the Hotel.
7th Day : Mysore to Bangalore Departure
After breakfast depart to Bangalore Airport/Railway Station.
