Assistance at the airport/railway station on arrival and drive to Gangtok.
GANGTOK:
At an altitude of 1750m, Gangtok became the state capital in the mid 19th century and has undergone rapid development since then. The downtown area is dominated by huge government buildings decorated with traditional Buddhist symbols. Gangtok is also a resting ground for people traveling to North Sikkim. Surrounded by Monasteries and Orchids, Gangtok is truly a travellers delight.

Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for half day city tour visiting Rumtek Monastery, Do Drul Chorten, Namgyal Institute o Tibetology(closed on Sundays), Cottage Industry(closed on Sundays) and Flower Show Complex.

Breakfast at the hotel and full day excursion to Changu Lake which is 35 Kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives its waters from melting snows off the surrounding mountains Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying the color of the lake’s waters.
Also visit Baba Mandir.

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Bagdogra/NJP in time for flight/train to onward destination.

Packages for North Bengal and Sikkim are based on 05 Categories of hotels.
Premium and Super deluxe on half board (MAP) basis and deluxe, standard & budget on bed and breakfast (CP) basis
For all Elgin Hotels there is a supplement of Rs.2500/- per person on Christmas and New Year eve and this is mandatory – hotels are New Elgin, Norkhill, Silver Oaks and Mt.Pandim
For All packages transportation will be provided using Non AC SUMO unless where the same is not possible as per the local transport regulations
For the other categories appropriate Non AC Cars will be provided depending on the number of passengers traveling.
Local sightseeing in Gangtok will be done using Non AC Maruti Vans for all categories of hotels as per the regulation of the local transport associations.
Local sightseeing in Pelling will be done using Non AC Jeeps/Tata Sumos as per the regulation of the local transport associations.
On arrival at NJP our representative will be holding a placard near the main gate (please note at NJP Station there are 02 Exit gates for passengers and clients are requested to come near the main exit gate)
