DAY
Day 1: Arrive Christchurch
Welcome to New Zealand! On arrival in Christchurch, ‘The Garden City’, you will be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Do not miss the opportunity to visit the Antartica Centre (optional). In the evening try your luck at the famous Christchurch Casino. Overnight in Christchurch.
Day 2: Christchurch - Mt Cook - Queenstown
Today, travel across the fertile Canterbury Plains to Lake Tekapo and the ‘Church of the Good Shepherd’ before continuing on to New Zealand's highest mountain - Mt Cook.
Depart Mt Cook and follow the shores of Lake Pukaki south through the historic Central Otago region to the ‘Alpine Resort’of Queenstown. Overnight in Queenstown.
Day 3: Queenstown
The day is free to enjoy activities like bungy jumping, jet boating, tours to beautiful fiords, gondola rides and much more offered at this beautiful mountain resort. Overnight in Queenstown.
Day 4: Queenstown – Rotorua
Today you will be transferred to Queenstown Airport for your flight to Rotorua. ‘The Thermal City’. Upon arrival into Rotorua you will be transferred to your hotel .Overnight in Rotorua.
Day 5: Rotorua
Today visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see boiling mudpools and roaring geysers.Following this visit Paradise Valley, the Agrodome with sheep dog demonstrations, cow milking. The afternoon is at leisure. Overnight in Rotorua.
Day 6: Rotorua - Waitomo - Auckland
Travel over the forested Mamaku Ranges to reach Waitomo. Enjoy a guided tour of the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves including an underground boat ride viewing the millions of glow worms on the cavern roof. On completion continue through the fertile Waikato area to reach Auckland. Overnight in Auckland.
Day 7: Depart Auckland
Today you will be transferred to Auckland Airport for your flight back home. Return home with fond memories of your holiday.
